A little about myself, I was taught everything I know by my Grandfather and my Father who are both amazing craftsman. I have been working to emulate their skill for the last 15 years! Eric and crew were great! My home is a historic district so I had some extra requirements in order to get permitted, they were super understanding and helped me through the whole way with any info I needed. They found an unexpected slate roof under my current shingles that made the job a little harder than expected, but they powered through and it came out looking great.

Pete and his helper were punctual, communicative and the job was well done overall. I do have some issues though, and if could give 3 1/2 stars I would. Issue#1: The quote was $4000 not including materials for siding the east and west walls of a 450 sq ft (very small) building. It was a very good price, but not what we paid. The ultimate price we paid was $6700, due to "unforeseen circumstances". Granted, the substrate that needed to be removed ended up coming off in inch-sized pcs instead of sheets, it was very hot and it rained a lot (not unforeseen in August IMHO). So, the prep took quite a bit longer. Got it. The second issue I have is that all those small pcs ended up on the ground - not on a tarp that could have been spread out to catch them. So after they left, I had to spend a couple of hours raking and cleaning up all those small bits (and nails). Not cool.

Eric and Pete at Cornerstone Roofing and Siding did an awesome job patching up some vinyl siding that was damaged. Eric was extremely responsive and Pete was quick to diagnose the problem and make the repairs. I would hire them again!!

We offer discounts to those in need. If you’re struggling, let us know. We all need to take care of each other. The experts we employ here are paid well and their safety is always our #1 concern. We may want not be your cheapest option but we are fair and honest.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I almost always advise an in person consultation to make sure I understand the goals and expectations of my clients!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I believe I’ve learned the most while on the job, I did earn an engineering degree! I’m also a certified installer for many roofing, siding and waterproofing manufacturers. I currently hold and osha certification as well.
