- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out doing tree work as a summer job working for my best friends father. Tree work is a fast-paced, loud, adrenhaline packed environment and I loved it from the start. I loved the sense of accomplishment that I had at the end of the job looking at an empty space where a tree once stood. I also enjoyed the challenge of learning how to use and maintain equipment that was so dangerous and intimidating, and learning how to use it safely and properly. Just go watch a tree company anywhere doing work at someone's house and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Climbing trees is an art form and is breathtaking to do, and to watch.
