Introduction: Congratulations on your engagement! I’m The Reverend Tony Lorenzen, an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister with twelve years of experience as a wedding officiant helping couples craft a wedding ceremony full of joy, grace, and a little extra awesome! My job as your wedding officiant is to help you craft a wedding ceremony that’s perfect and personalized just for you. I’ll guide you through preparing a wedding ceremony script, writing or choosing wedding vows, and adding personal touches to make the process of planning as wonderful as your wedding ceremony itself. I will help you craft a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your personality, your values and worldview, and your unique love. Whether you practice a particular faith or no faith or consider yourself spiritual but not religious or secular, I will help you celebrate your wedding with grace and style. My education, training and experience ensures that not only will your wedding ceremony be wonderful, but also means I am qualified to be a pastoral counselor and pastoral presence to you from our first conversation until you exchange your wedding vows. I’d love to have an initial free conversation with you to explore if I am the right wedding officiant for you. I’ll ask to hear your love story and what you are wanting for your wedding ceremony. I’ll tell you about how I work to craft ceremonies and answer questions about the process. Should you want to make a booking official after that conversation, we will talk dates and timelines and formal agreements. The day of your wedding (and the rehearsal too, if you have one), you will be happy you decided to have an experienced, ordained minister as your wedding officiant. I will not only be professional and organized, but pastoral. I will coordinate all aspects of the ceremony with musicians, photographers, videographers, and wedding planners. If needed, I will reign in rowdy attendants or calm anxious parents. After the ceremony, I will make sure your marriage license is filled out correctly, sign it, and mail it to the town or city clerk’s office for you so you’ll be legally wed. Rev. Tony was one of the best decisions my now-husband and I made for our wedding. What a lovely soul we had the pleasure of working with. If you are looking for an officiant who is incredibly accommodating, responsive, energetic, and an advocate for you as a couple, you will find it in Rev. Tony. In addition to choosing him as our officiant, we also participated in some pre-wedding meetings because we wanted to go into our marriage with eyes wide open. I also highly recommend choosing that portion of his services. He offered great insight regarding our relationship, and we found it useful. If you are considering choosing Rev. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have one price - $800. My prices reflects my professional education, advanced specialized training and years of experience. I am the real deal! I will help you create your own personalized ceremony according to your preferences. I will officiate a rehearsal if you wish. I will provide pastoral care and counseling for you and your wedding party and your family when and if needed as it relates to the wedding. I will officiate your ceremony with grace and style. I will sign and mail your marriage certificate. If you so wish, I will lead you through the Prepare-Enrich marriage preparation program.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You’ve already taken the most important step in the journey toward the wedding ceremony of your dreams by exploring my ministry. If you are interested in booking me or learning more, just contact me via Thumbtack. The next step is for us to have an initial conversation, either in person or via video chat. During that conversation, we’ll explore if I am the right wedding officiant for you (I probably am). I’ll ask to hear your love story and what you are wanting for your wedding ceremony.
