John is a very talented music teacher. His passion for music truly comes through in his ability to teach and inspire. John taught my daughter guitar for a year ... we were sad that he was moving, otherwise he would still be teaching her! She learned a great deal and developed a true appreciation for music. What impressed me the most about John is that he is very patient, has a great way of interacting with kids, and really enjoys what he is doing. If a lesson needed to go over by a few minutes, it always did. That is very unusual with private lessons ... and was much appreciated! We highly recommend John as a guitar teacher.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are typically 45-minute sessions, at $30 per session. First lesson is always free, as it is mostly interview/getting to know you and your gear. Either cash or check are ok, and i prefer monthly payments, but weekly are ok as needed as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because music is always evolving, its important to stay active. I see shows as often as I can, and play with as many diverse groups as possible.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
At a young age, I developed a passion for music. I just want my students to have that same passion, for anything, music included.
