Hi, I’m Catrina — photographer behind Studio Joki, based in Millbury, MA and serving Central Massachusetts and surrounding areas.
With over a decade of professional photography experience spanning weddings, portraits, and commercial work, I bring a calm, creative presence to every shoot. My commercial background means I work efficiently, read light quickly, and know how to make people feel comfortable in front of a camera — whether it’s a bride on her wedding day or a professional who hates having their photo taken.
I offer wedding, portrait, and headshot photography at competitive rates. Price quotes for portraits and engagements start at 30 minute sessions, and we can quote longer sessions as well!
Every gallery is fully edited and delivered with care. Photo prints, albums, and more are available through the gallery at an additional cost.

We had such a great experience working with Studio Joki. From the beginning, communication was easy, responsive, and stress-free, which made the whole process feel seamless.The photoshoot itself was so much fun. Neither of us are people who are naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel completely at ease. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the process of working together as seamless as possible. For some of my services, you can book directly through my website. For others, we’ll start with an email. Once we have a date and location set, we’ll communicate further to discuss your specific needs and goals for the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Studio Art and served as President of my college’s Photography Club during my senior year. While in college, I also completed a photography internship with Carolyn Ross Photography, where I gained intensive training in lighting, studio setups, and portrait photography.
After graduating in 2014, I began freelancing, specializing in wedding and event photography. In 2017, I transitioned to corporate photography roles, including two years at a home décor company where my product photography was featured in nationally distributed catalogs. Later, I worked at a marketing agency, providing a wide range of photography services for clients, including events, food, branding, portraits, and products.
This diverse background has given me extensive experience in capturing a variety of moments and subjects with professionalism and creativity.
