My pricing includes cost of travel and booking fees. The Package Deals and Tune-Ups are often the best value services and take care of all your concerns. I will often recommend these Tune-Ups for pianos that need cleaning, haven't been tuned in a while, or if some of the notes are not working properly. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I come into contact with a new customer, I need to know their name, location of the piano, contact info, type of piano (if known), how often they play it and what type of music they typically play. These details are not only important, but they help me connect with the client on a personal level and aid in the quality of my service. Clients may contact me to book an appointment, or they may visit my website to book online. The online booking system will show you what I have available around a day that they pick as their ideal day to have the work done. Once booked, you will recieve a confirmation email a few days before the appointment. If you opt in for text alerts, you will be notified through a third-party, no-reply texting phone number that I am on my way and how long it will be before I arrive. Cash or checks are the preferred method of payment, though I can also accept all major credit cards. After our appointment, you may opt in for service reminders, however frequently you would like them. Every six months to once a year is generally recommended for most scenarios.

I attend annual conferences and conventions that the Piano Technician's Guild helps organize. I am on the board of the Piano Technician's Guild Rhode Island Chapter and attend bi-monthly meetings where I stay up to date on the latest developments in my field. I also graduated from North Bennet Street School's two year Piano Technology Program in Boston, where I was taught my trade by the industries leading instructors and other skilled craftsman. Internships at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Sing for Hope in New York City, Harvard University, and experience serving the Boston Public Schools' pianos gave me an excellent base for the start of my career.
