Introduction: My career has been so varied it's hard to nail down a speciality. I like to say I specialize in everything. But when it comes down to it it's really all about experience. Where I'm most experienced is portraiture, journalism, fine art, and editorial. It could be argued that a photographer who excels in these genres could feasibly photograph anything exceptionally well. I like to think that I can fit that description. Engaging with new people on a regular basis and helping people to see the beauty in themselves.

I could tell that Josh is a perfectionist, but he's also very personable and open minded. I felt like he was invested in making sure my head shot was the best it could be and I appreciated that.

Joshua has photographed my grandchildren and my nieces, in both portraits and informal shots, ranging from a First Communion portrait to outdoor action shots. I have been thrilled with the results. He is professional and works very well with children. I especially like his attention to the lighting.

Joshua did an excellent job at two locations that I proposed. He came up with good suggestions, and delivered the results promptly via the net, so that I could choose from the best photos. One of them will be used in the French News Journal 'Le Point"in February.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing starts at $150 an hour unless otherwise noted on my Spondoolies page.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with e-mail. After that I like to meet in person to talk about the project. Whether that's just a personal shoot or a commercial job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I shot for six years at the MetroWest Daily and Milford Daily News starting in 2001. Beyond that I have been published in Forbes Japan and the Boston Herald. I have photographed over 15 weddings and taken the portraits of countless individuals. I have also been a professional grip and electrician on 14 major motion pictures as well as smaller local productions.
