- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates: $150 base per event, plus $35/hour and travel/materials. You can choose one of the original characters I have already available, or I can make costumes for any characters and themes on request. New costume requests must be booked a minimum of 1 month ahead.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know details about your event first off, and with that I can suggest options from available characters or draw up designs for something new. After the initial conversations on event, costume, and rates, I'll check in occasionally to let you know how things are going.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied mixed circus arts with Circus Maine for 4 years, with a focus on clowning, from 2014 to 2018. In July of 2019, I completed a 1 month apprenticeship with Bread and Puppet, where I picked up a few tricks with props and puppetry, and worked with other stiltwalkers as well. I also have experience in community theater, music, and other stage persuits going back into my childhood.
