Introduction: Easily distracted? Interested in delving deeper into yoga to create a home practice or learning more about yoga philosophy? Super competitive in a group setting? Feeling intimidated by a large class? Want a more hands-on experience than a busy class setting offers? One-on-one or small group yoga with me is a great way to get a personalized yoga class, working with your specific wants and needs at a convenient time and location for you! In addition to adult classes, I also offer small group classes for kids, tweens, and teens. These sessions help to foster a sense of self-awareness, confidence, compassion, and community through yoga sequences, partner/group poses, games (for the younger yogis) and mindfulness exercises. I strive to show my students, no matter their age, that yoga offers much more than a way to become more flexible or fit. I am known for my clear, precise cueing that enables you to flow with your eyes closed (if you choose). My classes provide a place to explore, and find a balance between challenging yourself and caring for yourself through breath and movement. Certifications: 200-hr registered yoga teacher, kid/teen yoga & mindfulness, mentorship and hands-on assist apprenticeship

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Discounts offered for booking and paying for multiple sessions up front. Message me for details.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

A lifelong athlete, I first tried hot yoga as a teenager, seeking a way to become stronger and more flexible to compete in ice hockey. After taking a hiatus from yoga, I returned to my mat as an adult while navigating a difficult career transition. I found that practicing yoga asana (postures), breathwork and meditation, provided not only physical benefits, but also helped me to tame my lifelong anxiety, enabling me to be more present both on and off my mat.
