Kate captures beautiful moments with beautiful images, but she also recognizes and appreciates beauty in details that are often overlooked--so she'll get the expected photos, but she'll also go beyond them to introduce another, unexpected perspective...
Not to mention she was so flexible and accommodating with her schedule: we really wanted to do our engagement session in the snow and with the weather being so unpredictable, Kate dropped everything with less than 12 hours notice to trek into the snowy city to take our photos, which we had access to hours later!
She was so easy to work with--we hardly noticed she was there, so we felt comfortable and were able to act so naturally while she was photographing us, which really allowed her to capture our personality and playfulness as a couple in the photos.
The last thing you want on your wedding day--or even during an engagement photo session--is your photographer's presence influencing your every move (literally and figuratively!). At our wedding we honestly didn't even notice Kate taking photos until we returned home from a few short days away on our "minimoon" to find a beautiful photo album with a CD of the images awaiting us! It made coming home so much easier!
We would highly recommend Kate. Not only does she take beautiful photographs, but she is wonderful to work with. Very professional and fast...and FUN!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Kate was just amazing! From the moment of booking until the day of the wedding, no question ever went unanswered. As a bride, I can honestly say that I had no worries just 'leaving it to her' Kate has such an artistic eye and truly captured the magic of the day. She was totally unobtrusive and she didn't miss a photo opportunity from our day! And not only was she an absolute pleasure to have with us, but she captured every moment of our wedding with a photojournalistic flair that brought out our families fun, outgoing personalities. Our photos are truly stunning, unique shots that tell the story of our day in a way that completely exceeded our expectations.

Kate has done our sons newborn photos and our sons christening. She has a amazing eye for pictures, from posing our newborn, to the lighting, and down to using just the right props to make for amazing pictures. In addition she was quick to get the perfect pose the infant was in and patient as well when the infant was not cooperating and needed to eat before more pictures could be taken. Having seen many other newborn photos of other friends infants, the photos she took of our son don't even come close. We love every single one of our photos that she took of our son. Kate captured much more than the photo but the emotion and love for a new mom and dads love for their new son. Those pictures we have that she took capture memories that we will cherish forever. Most recently she shot our sons christening and yet again the photos are perfect. She completely captured the day and all the love that our family has for our little guy. Kate is a very talented photographer and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to capture any special moment in life. She truly has a great eye and you will fall in love with the pictures she takes. Great pictures are a amazing thing to have and look back on years the line. You truly will not be one bit disappointed using Kate to capture your special moment!

Thank you so much for being the fabulous photographer that you are and for being so easy to work with in preparation for our National Alumni Summit and on the day of the event on Friday. From the beginning of working with you, I felt that you were a partner to Year Up because you were so willing to work with us. On the day of the Summit, you were focused and in control at all times. I cant wait to see the photos!
