I wish that I could give LUMY ten stars. It is no mistake that they have consistently excellent ratings and reviews. This is the most professional, linear, delightful moving company I have ever encountered. I reached out to LUMY via Yelp in mid October to get a quote for a Boston-to-DC move. I was out of state the entire month prior to my move, so I would require full packing and moving services. Pavel responded right away and was able to meet my sister the same evening to take a detailed inventory and turned around a very precise fixed-rate quote that same night. LUMY's rate was not only the best one of six I sought -- it was by a long mile. On the day of the move, Pavel and business partner Max arrived with a third mover, Dima -- on time, even a few minutes early. The three were so pleasant and energetic, and worked quickly and diligently, packing my items with extraordinary care. I have a cabinet with nearly fifty wine glasses -- each was individually wrapped with utmost caution. It took the team less than six hours to pack and load the truck. They did a thorough walkthrough at the end of the move to ensure that nothing was left behind and set the expectation of when to meet me the next morning at my new DC home. As expected, the following morning, the team was right on time, and able to unpack all of my belongings in just a few hours. They were eager to put things in the right rooms and the right parts of the rooms to make unpacking a breeze. During the move, my mother and I were fumbling with large heavy packages that had been mailed to my new building -- these gentlemen insisted on helping lug them to my apartment even though this was in no way expected. My furniture was all carefully wrapped in blankets. Not one single item broke during the move. It seems impossible. My furniture did not incur so much as a scratch or a smudge in the careful hands of LUMY. It bears mentioning: LUMY's prices are unbeatable. They structure it so that you pay a 10% deposit to secure the appointment, then you pay 40% following loading and the remainder after unloading. There were no hidden costs. Upon paying, I felt like I had pulled a fast one -- the hard work, travel, and professional services could have cost a fortune, but LUMY's services were tremendous, and at a steal of a price. Anyone looking to move should absolutely hire LUMY. Pavel, Max and team provide an unmatched level of care at a wildly competitive price, and moreover are a total pleasure to work with from start to end. If I ever move again, LUMY will be my first and only call. Can't express enough gratitude to you guys! Thanks for making my move so easy and providing such a tremendous experience! Will recommend you to everyone!!!

LUMY made really great job! They moved my 1 bedroom apt from South End to Brighton in 3 hours(from 4th floor to 3rd). 95 degrees outside, but Max and Paul didnt stop at all. Well done guys! Definitely will use them again!
