Chico and Sheila did a fantastic job applying the finished coats to my gazebo and shed. They did such a great job I immediately hired them to paint my exterior doors, shutters, and trim.

We hired Hilux to paint our interior walls (changing all existing colors) in our almost 4,000 square foot house, as well as the lower kitchen cabinets (which required removing and reinstalling all cabin hardware, including interior hinges, for painting). Chico (the owner’s nickname) initially spent time walking through every room on all 3 floors with me and my wife, then going back to take measurements and photos so he could put together an estimate. After we agreed on a price (which was very reasonable) and details of the proposal shortly thereafter, he patiently waited weeks for my wife to decide on the various colors she wanted. We went with Benjamin Moore paints. He and his 1- or 2-person crew (very personable folks) spent about 2 weeks completing the job, doing a very skilled, professional, and thorough job. I highly recommended Hilux. We will be hiring them again shortly to paint the trim, after my wife chooses the colors she wants to complement the new wall colors.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I travel to the customer and give free estimate on the job and depending on the job I give discount as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we are contacted by the customer we schedule a visit to go over exactly what he/she is looking for. Then we will send a quote/estimate to the customer outlining all the work to be performed and pricing. We wait for the his/her answer to schedule the start date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of experience and keep myself updated with colors a d techniques.
