Kyle Matthew Construction is a full-service design-build company serving Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Since opening in the summer of 2018, we have built our reputation through quality workmanship, clean job sites, reliable project management, and work that consistently passes inspection the first time.
With architectural designers on staff, we can manage your project from the initial concept and drawings through permitting, construction, and completion. Our services include new homes, additions, garages, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, framing, foundations, and complete renovations.
Our portfolio features real photos from projects we have completed, not generic stock images. We also have real customer references who can attest to the quality of our work. Eight years later, we are still standing strong because we take pride in doing the job right.

These guys are awesome. I used them for a basement renovation. Top level communication through the process, through design to build. They are quick to get everyone out to work, and have everything lined up. As with any construction / renovation there are changes that need to happen to the original plan, and these guys are awesome at communication and finding solutions. Most importantly, the work is beautiful!

Due to a major plumbing fiasco in my condo building, I had to have (1) old hardwood floors ripped up and replaced, (2) new vanity installed, (3) all baseboards replaced, and (4) repainting of living room, dining room, and bathroom. Their employees are all professional, always on time, do a great job, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day. I highly recommend them.

We had a really old apartment that had been through a lot and Max and his team were able to transform it to a working apartment.
Finding a good contractor can be very difficult but Max was able to coordinate getting the job done in a timely manner

I hired Wilbur/KM for a remodeling project that included an office extension, a new half bathroom, and a complicated plumbing hook-up for a new laundry room. My experience was very positive, from beginning to end. It all started with Max who prepared what turned out to be a very fair quote; Then, on to Gio who spent countless hours designing a bathroom that had to fit into an odd-shaped space. Gio provided a number of options and alternative floor plans, and he made adjustments very quickly and easily based on my feed-back. And, finally, all of the skilled laborers – from demo, plumbing, electrical, painting, tiling and carpentry – all did a great job. They were all great to work with, so professional and respectful of our space. It’s clear that this is tight-nit family business that takes pride and ownership in their work. I'm thrilled with the outcome.

Working with Max at the Wilbur Group / KM Construction was a great experience. They built a washer/dryer closet for us in what used to be a normal closet (so they installed plumbing and electrical, and built the closet). We unfortunately had a terrible experience with a contractor we hired right before, who essentially scammed us. Max and team were incredibly empathetic towards this, worked with our budget, and started the project from where it was left off about a week later. The experience working with Max vs working with the first contractor was night and day. Max was incredibly responsive, his guys were on time, and everything was done when and how he said it would be. His guys were also very respectful and clean - overall, super nice and great to interact with (which we did a lot of, since my husband and I are working from home full-time).
Max checked in with us on a daily basis to let us know what would be done that day and the timing of the workers, etc. He answered every one of my phone calls and texts, even though our project was small. He and his team were considerate and hard workers. Even if Max's quote is slightly higher than the cheapest quote you get, hire Max and his team. It is worth it to get the work done right and on time. I highly recommend Wilbur / KM and Max.

We take pride in providing competitive, fair, and transparent pricing. Our quotes are never inflated, but also never “too cheap” because quality work requires fair value. We’ve built our reputation on honesty, craftsmanship, and integrity, not on making a quick score.
We’re flexible and collaborative when it comes to budgets. If your budget is realistic, we’ll always do our best to make it work; whether that means re-evaluating materials, adjusting scope, or finding cost-effective alternatives to keep your project on track without compromising quality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by scheduling an initial on-site meeting, free of charge, at your earliest convenience to review the project details and goals. From there, we carefully prepare a comprehensive, detailed proposal outlining the full scope of work, materials, and costs.
Our team works the numbers carefully and transparently to ensure a competitive, fair, and accurate quote. Once the proposal is reviewed together, we make any necessary adjustments and move forward with scheduling and planning your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team collectively brings over 50 years of experience in the construction industry. All of our supervisors are OSHA 30-hour certified, and we employ multiple CSL (Construction Supervisor License) holders. Kyle Matthew Construction is also a registered Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (HIC).
Additionally, we have a Massachusetts-certified hoisting operator on staff for machine and excavation operations, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with state requirements.
