Karina Mejias, Our founder and CEO created Menyue with the idea of bringing forward the traditions of Dominican Republic and making them available through food. Karina created Menyue as an homage to her late mother, who taught her the beauty of traditions and how food brings people together. Today, she works hard to continue to push forward the very traditions which have brought her and her family such great joy. Karina is AMAZING! I booked a dinner with Menyue for my boss, who had requested an authentic Romanian menu, which is very hard to find in Massachusetts. Karina knocked it out of the park! To start, within a day of submitting my Thumbtack inquiry, she provided me with 3 menu options to show him, all of which were mouth-watering. Throughout the process, Karina was incredibly responsive, available and detailed. She wanted the dinner to be as perfect as my boss and I did, and it absolutely was. She told us beforehand what to expect from the moment we booked, to her arrival and all the way through to her departure, and she customized the menu to meet his requests. And the food was delicious! (I sadly didn't get to taste it, but my boss said it was fantastic.) Karina was perfectly punctual and as discreet as possible, and is super friendly to boot. She was a joy to work with, and she is now my go-to personal chef!

We celebrated my MIL 70th birthday party and sought out Menyue for large quantity dessert item. We went in without knowing exactly what we wanted but wanted to stay away from the ordinary “cake” route. Karina (owner) gave us different options and we settle for an egg custard which was absolutely delicious and a hit. I expected a basic custard but was found with a decadent flan with berries, dulce de leche cream, and EDIBLE FLOWER! It was a hit with out guests! We will definitely seeking Menyue to cater future events! for each guest which I’m so happy was given to us as an option.
