- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been a public speaker in many of my previous professional roles. I had always wanted to officiate weddings, but I’d never really gotten around to doing it. Then one of my oldest friends was getting remarried. I originally was going to be a bridesmaid, but the wedding location, date, size, etc kept getting changed. When the minister wasn’t able to accommodate, I stepped in and I’ve never looked back. It was the first and most memorable wedding ceremony I’ve ever performed.
