Introduction: The Music Room offers private and group piano, voice, violin, drum, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, guitar, theory, and song writing lessons for all ages. Lessons are offered for all levels of each instrument either in-person or remotely. The focus is on assisting each student to develop healthy musical technique and engage them creatively in their pursuit of repertoire in the styles of their choice. In-person lessons take place at our studio located at 71 Faulkner St, North Billerica MA. We strive to bring a sense of pride and joy to each and every student by helping them discover their instrument as well as nurturing their creativity and artistry. Lessons are geared towards each student's individual goals and needs. Students are guided by using a variety of methods and techniques based on voice science and body awareness in a supportive and encouraging manner. We enjoy that each student is different and creative in their own way. No two classes are the same and lessons are always great fun! Regular recitals are offered twice a year to showcase our students' talents, and they are always filled with a variety of great genres and composers.

Singing Lessons (for adults)

She is an encouraging, and patient person. She response promptly to emails. She is flexible with her lesson schedule to help students find a time that works for them. There are a variety of price points including some package offers that make the lessons affordable for any budget. I enjoy and have fun at each lesson. I would highly recommend this professional to anyone.

Piano Lessons (for children or teenagers)

Our first lesson was great. My son is 9, and Amanda has a great way with teaching. He didn't want to leave, and can't wait to go back!

Singing Lessons (for children or teenagers)

A perfect match for my 15 year old daughter taking singing lessons. Amanda's knowledge, talent, and enthusiasm are contagious. She has fostered my daughter's confidence and developed her singing skills. I highly recommend Amanda. You become part of her singing family and she gives more than 100% of herself each lesson. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Piano Lessons

She's very patient and has a natural talent for teaching, she's very passionate of what she does and in turn this motivates the students. In my first class I felt very confident that I could learn a lot. Very structured and easy going.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Monthly rates are $110 for 30 minutes, $175 for 45 minutes, and $205 hourly. Per lesson payments are a dollar per minute ($30, $45, and $60) -The very first lesson is 50% off! -Students can pay either per lesson or on a monthly basis and save 10% (please call, message, or email for details)

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typical process with a new client is the client contacts us if interested in private lessons. Basic information is given and we schedule a first, discounted lesson at a time that works for both the client and teacher. The first lesson is always relaxed, but very educational. An instructor will evaluate the new student's skill level and how long they focus. Recommendations on the appropriate lesson length and method book that fits the client will then be discussed. After the lesson is finished, teacher and parent discuss if the client feels they are a good fit for the studio. If they wish to continue lessons, another lesson is scheduled.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Each teacher has their degree in music. A number of instructors are also very achieved performers in their own right. Please visit our website to read more about our current instructors.
