Introduction: You said 'yes'. Now it's time to say 'I do'. Congratulations to you and your fiancé on your decision to get married! It would be an honor and a privilege to officiate your wedding. The cost is $250 and it includes a one on one consultation with you and your fiancé and officiating your wedding with a customized, unique & memorable ceremony. I can also help you with the flow of your ceremony, the writing of your vows, and any questions you may have about obtaining a Marriage License in the State of MA or NH. I would be happy to speak or meet with you & your fiancé to discuss any other questions or concerns you might have. In addition, I can send you a sample wedding ceremony if you are interested in moving forward. Thank you for your consideration. I hope to earn your business. Regards, Roberta Without a doubt, my service is second-to-none. I will do everything I can to make sure your wedding ceremony is representative of you & your fiancé. I am sensitive to your needs, considerate, and I provide excellent customer service. There is no better feeling than being a part of a couple's official union- their 'happily ever after'. It is so gratifying and humbling to play an important part of their big day. Nothing feels better than receiving a thank you note from a couple after their wedding telling me how much they appreciated everything I did for them!

I can't say enough great thing about Roberta! We had a small intimate wedding ceremony due to our original plans being rescheduled. It was a pleasure working with Roberta from our first phone call to the ceremony. We are excited to have her at our big celebration next year!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Roberta! From our first meeting to our ceremony she was able to guide us through the entire crazy process that is a wedding ceremony. Additionally, Roberta’s humor throughout the ceremony helped put my husband and I at ease. I would highly recommend Roberta for your wedding officiant!

As we began our journey to get married in the Autumn of our lives we searched for a Justice of the Peace that could help guide us through nuances in modern day marriage ceremonies. Upon reviewing many other officiates after reading Roberta’s reviews we messaged her on Thumbtack. We decided to meet in a nearby Town to discuss our vision of our ceremony. Roberta asked many question in order to individualize “Our Day.” We loved her personality that accompanied her professionalism, helping to ease our nervousness in our planning. As the day neared, she kept in touch to make sure our revisions to the written ceremony was what we wanted. Our wedding was small in scale and we did not have a rehearsal prior to the wedding. That being said, and with Roberta’s experience, she met with each of the participants to discuss their roles in the wedding ceremony without even being asked to do so. She was just a peach and a joy to work with. We were elated and felt we had the perfect Justice of the Peace for us......

Dear Tom, Thank you for the kind words. You and Nancy were an absolute pleasure to work with and a great example of a couple that found true love later in life. Best wishes to both of you & your families as your journeys together continue.. Sincerely, Roberta

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

While I typically charge $200+ for the consultation and wedding ceremony, it costs more if the couple wants me to attend the rehearsal (typically $85), perform a blessing during the reception (typically $50), if I need to travel an extensive distance to the wedding, etc.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

No two couples are the same. However, when I am hired, I like to set up a consultation with the couple. I take them through the flow of of the ceremony and we start to talk about the things they want and envision for their wedding day. From there, I send them a copy of their 1st draft and throughout the process, we continue to tweak and adjust the ceremony. This process can take as little as a week or as much as a year.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church.
