About

My name is Guy Robert Lubin, a US Marine who served this country proudly. Photography has always been in my life. I loved being in front of the camera. One day in Afghanistan in 2004, we were out on patrol. And was told to go to the front of the platoon. I was nervous, because I didn’t know if I had done something that I wasn’t suppose to. But to find out my superiors just wanted to take pictures of evidence we found. I had a small power-shot canon, from that day forward I’ve been holding a camera. Lastly, I was thought to preserve my honor, to have courage, and to commit to what I believe. It is my duty to make sure my clients are thrilled by the end of each event, because I put all my efforts and strength into my work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I have a consultation, to get a feel for what style photography the customer is looking for, and we go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked close with a few expert photographers in the past years to acquire experiences. I have attended a variety of online classes m, and YouTube have been a great educational tool helping me enhance my skill level.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always been the one in front of the cameras, one day I was looking for my usual photographer to take some portraits for me, and he was nowhere to be found. I was so upset that day, and the ache for photographer just hit me. I bought a used entry level camera for $260, and that was the birth of my photography career.
