Introduction

Working for a construction I was a full charge bookkeeper and we transitioned from a sole proprietorship to an LLC to a Corp and created three separate Corporations. Seventeen years of running my own one person business performing all the bookkeeping and other functions myself. I like teaching others about Bookkeeping and showing what it can do for their business. I walked in their shoes and understand what they are going through. I had two SBA loans and paid both of them off. My bank was closed down by the FDIC and they considered me too small and wanted to liquidate me, but I survived.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers so that I can stay in touch with as many areas of Bookkeeping that I should be aware of. This also affords me all the support that I need for answers that I may not have.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to help small businesses be able to gain from what I learned throughout my business career.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A Freelance Bookkeeper can save you money because; You only pay for the time you need, no employer SS payments, no paid holidays, no vacations & no health insurance. They have their own computer, software, already trained & come with many business experiences.
