I recently had Greater Boston Contractors finish my basement and add a full bathroom, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, they delivered high-quality work at a very reasonable price.
The team was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the project. They listened carefully to all my suggestions, were flexible with changes I requested along the way, and incorporated them seamlessly without any pushback. Communication was excellent, and they kept me updated every step of the process. What stood out most was their attention to detail the finishing touches were thoughtful and really elevated the space. The quality of craftsmanship is evident in every aspect, from the drywall and flooring to the plumbing and fixtures in the new bathroom. Everything was done to a high standard, and the workers were diligent about cleaning up the work areas daily, leaving the space tidy and dust-free after each day.
They handled all the permits and paperwork transparently and efficiently, which made the whole process stress-free and fully compliant. Best of all, they finished the project right on time, exactly as promised.

I hired them to finish my unfinished basement, and overall, I’m happy with the result. The work was completed on time, and the finished space meets my expectations. The team was professional, and everything was done to a good standard.
That said, the only issue I ran into was that there seemed to be multiple project managers overseeing the work at different points, and there were times when it felt like they weren’t on the same page. I ended up having to repeat the same details or clarify things multiple times, which caused a few breakdowns in communication.
Despite that, the job was completed as promised, and I’d still recommend them for reliable work.

I recommend GBC if you want a team who is professional, prompt, fair regarding price, and does quality work. I had multiple rooms that needed drywall installed as well as badly scratched hardwood floors that needed to be refinished. Greater Boston Contractors had great communication throughout the process & and they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. They were also very quick to help with some additional plumbing work that wasn't in the original scope. I plan to hire them again for my next home project. Great job GBC!

I decided to finish my basement after 3 years of nurturing the idea here in Lakeville, MA. First, I wanted a company that would do an incredible job at a fair price and so a couple contractors came in to see the space, and give a cost estimate. After careful consideration and vetting, I finally chose Greater Boston Contractors. I am here today to attest that they did a good job and exceeded expectations. I was under a tight deadline because my family was growing and I needed extra space for the living area, a home office, a kids play room, and an additional bathroom/shower. Greater Boston Contractors professionally took me through every step, from permit application to the final coat of paint , to the final inspection. Due to financial constraints, my original plan was to complete phase one ( about 400 sq. feet), then do phase two much later. But when I saw how spectacular the first phase turned out to be, I quickly contacted them to finish the second phase without further ado.
Greater Boston Contractors crew were professional, experienced, responsible and handled the whole project flawlessly. They were easy to work with, kept in touch throughout to ensure I understood every step, and made sure the work done was of high quality. Choosing them over others, I generally felt like we were a priority, and not just a number. Matthew Santana did a great job keeping in touch with me and explaining the next steps. He never got tired answering questions even on his off days! Hoepers Alyson was very professional and outstanding. He was quite accommodating, paid attention to details, and above all he was a very easy to team with person. Ramon did great tiling the bathroom, as it came out looking stunningly amazing, my daughter loves it. The list of the workers is long, but in a nutshell, I enjoyed working with each one of them. They were clean, friendly, polite and stayed late to make sure my project was completed. I am definitely recommending Greater Boston Contractors for your next project. They finished my project on time without any hiccups. There is no need to procrastinate, try them today and join the club of happy and satisfied clients. Cheers Greater Boston Contractors!
