Introduction: Hi, My name is Genevieve Gallagher, you can call me Gen! I’ve owned and operated Vivi Photography since 2010. My primary focus is on weddings. I also provide engagement photo shoots, portrait sessions, cake smash shoots, and anything else you can come up with. Just Ask! I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in Mathematics as well as a degree in Fine Arts Photography. I have very high standards for every single image I deliver and I believe that is what sets me apart. I simply don’t do batch editing. I look at and scrutinize every photograph to make sure I’m happy with attaching my name and reputation to it. This obsession of mine means that I spend many hours in the post processing stage. I manage to get through it with coffee, wine, and Castiel the lap cat who is perfection!

Genevieve from ViviPhotography was great!! We hired her for engagement photos, shower,wedding and believe it or not she came to our bachelor bachelorette party to take pictures!She really captured so much of my entire wedding experience.Reasonably priced as well.

Genevieve was amazing!! I am not one who loves to have my picture taken but she made me feel at ease right away! She arrived on time and was very professional. There were 3 sites to our wedding (at home to get ready, wedding site, and then the reception). Genevieve had no problem coming to them all and even sent out an email before to get an idea of what I wanted. She kept taking pictures and didn't stop until our event was winding down and I told her we were done :) The guests couldn't say enough about how great she was either! I really loved her style of photography as well. Some pictures were the "normal" posed, while others were more artistic and some were even action shots. She also listened to what/whom I wanted captured as well. She was easy to work with, which I really needed because I was very nervous for my wedding and I know nothing about photography! I would highly recommend Genevieve to anyone for any event!

My experience with Genevieve Poole was just terrific. She won the bidding on my job with a personable response, suggesting an outdoor setting for a head shot, just what I had in mind. Her communication was prompt and professional. She was on time for our meeting, and also delivered on her commitment for the finished photos. The shoot was a lot of fun - relaxed and easy - this shows in the final results. I have received innumerable complements on the head shots and could not be more please with the results. I highly recommend Genevieve and will use her services again.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in fine arts photography. While earning this degree I participated in classes that focused on digital editing in Adobe Photoshop.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been interested in photography from a very young age. When it came time for me to enroll in college I had no hesitation with declaring photography as my major. It simply has always been my greatest passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! I love meeting new people! I recently had an amazing experience photographing a wedding that was both the bride and groom's second marriage. It was so beautiful seeing them and their collective five children interact and show so much love and excitement!
