Introduction: There are many great technicians out there to choose from. My goal is not only to fix the computer but build a relationship with each customer. I've been very successful at that with many of my customers, getting to know not only their technical needs, but about their lives. Most of my business comes from word of mouth from satisfied customers and I often become the "computer guy" for an entire family of people or a circle of friends. I love solving a problem for someone. I know how frustrated people can get when dealing with computer problems and it's very satisfying to return a computer to them that finally does what they need it to do.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Some people seem to think all we do is run some software we find on the internet for free. While that does happen from time to time, I have thousands of dollars invested in software for troubleshooting and repairing computers. This is the type of overhead that even a one man repair shop like mine has to worry about paying for.
