FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike other cleaners we charge by the square foot for carpet cleaning. It's the most honest and fair approach to pricing. Many times you may be expecting a certain room or area price only to find your rooms are larger then the room/area price that was given over the phone. Quite often the room/area limit is smaller then the average room size. Your price can rise very quickly that way. An example would be a 12x11 room limit. If you have a room that is 12x12 they would charge you for 2 rooms. I would charge you $3 for that difference. If their area price is $25 per area your charge would be $50. My charge would go from $33 to $36. Much more fair and accurate for quoting purposes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I encourage them to ask a lot of questions and will often ask them questions so they know exactly what we do and how we do it. Then of course we have to back up what we say.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 4 years working for a very large carpet company just prior to starting out on my own. I learned carpets from the manufacturing process to the dying process to the installation process.
