Forward Motion Massage
About this pro
Restoring movement for horses and humans, I specialize in body/energy work, customized to my client's needs, drawing upon the many different techniques that I am trained in, from myofascial and deep tissue massage therapy to zero balancing and other techniques as needed. I am a certified Zero Balancing practitioner and find that ZB can really help to deal with a client's toughest challenges in healing. I am currently studying Eden Energy Medicine and will complete my certification as an EEM practitioner in January 2013. As an Equine massage therapist, I trained in the Jack Meagher method of Sports Massage and I also work with dogs applying the same principles. I really enjoy working with both horse and rider. I look at both, how they move independently and together, to help them achieve a oneness in how they move as a team. I travel to barns to provide equine services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I work with people who have been struggling with chronic challenges incorporating various massage and energy techniques to help them heal. My goal is to help each person I work with to return to optimal health and to provide them with techniques that they can do on their own to maintain their health. Recent clients have included those suffering from ongoing knee pain, carpal tunnel-like symptoms, chronic neck pain, fibromyalgia and headaches. Each of these conditions are unique and require a customized combination of skills and techniques to provide relief for the client. I help each individual tap into their own innate healing.
