What a great facility with knowledgeable, caring instructors and a robust riding program. The horses are well cared for and everyone is so friendly. We are so happy to have found a new community of kids where my daughter can ride and make friends.

Valerie of East of Equine is an amazing trainer who has a true passion for the sport, and exhibits excellent horsemanship skills. Valerie's approach to teaching is constructive and informative, while also creating a safe, and caring atmosphere for her students. Whether you are just starting horse back riding, or are looking to have your horse trained, Valerie is the trainer for you! As a student of East Coast Equine since 2008, my experience with Valerie has been one hundred percent positive. I would recommend her to anyone in the horse world, she is the best of the best.

Jessie is an outstanding riding instructor and trainer. Every time that I went to the barn, she always made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She gives each of her students so much attention, and makes you feel like you're the only one. When I felt nervous at times, she was always there to help me overcome my fears. She is one of the kindest and most caring people you will ever meet. She takes good care of her horses as well.

Elaine is a great teacher, has a passion for what she does, and has a great love for horses. I had always enjoyed riding with her and listening to her past experiences. Nothing is better than having the great feeling of stress being relieved every time I would hop on their back and let them take me on a little journey. I hope who ever goes riding with her will experience the same. ;)

I started doing dressage about a year ago and Kim has been absolutely amazing. She is an incredibly talented rider and a wonderful teacher who will go out of her way to help her students learn. She's also so passionate about what she does! With every lesson, I'm impressed by her dedication, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. It's a pleasure to ride at Three Painted Acres!

In my experience with Amy Tissera, I have witnessed her advance beginner riders as well as experienced equestrians. Her decades of experience in training, hunting and showing enable her to offer a broad training program suited to a variety of goals. And with 2 young children of her own, she is great with kids who love horses and ponies.

About

We have a friendly facility with both English and western riding instruction. We also have a large, lit riding ring and nearby trails. Many horses are offered for lease as well.

About

We offer horseback riding instruction for all, from beginner adult or child to competition. We also instruct handicapped riders, with lots of experience with autism. Instruction includes grooming, tacking and equitation skills, taught within an atmosphere of respect for people and horses. You will not be taught to use a whip or spurs. You will be taught all the other aids of voice, leg and hands. You will eventually have a thorough understanding of how to work with a horse to gain their trust and cooperation, so you can safely communicate with your horse to ride basic dressage, jumping fences and handling a horse on a trail. We can't forget all the life lessons horses teach us and fun.
