Voted the #1 Guitar Instructor on Boston's South Shore 9 years running from 2013 to 2021! All ages, levels, and genres. We can discuss guitar (I also teach bass, ukulele, sax, drums, and voice), recording, songwriting, performing, theory, and more. I teach people how to wear all the hats and how to become successful in all areas of music regardless of where you want to take it. If your goal is to be a full-time musician, great. If you just want to sit on your couch and play guitar while watching a baseball game, also great. We will learn a great deal during our lesson time, but we'll also have a great deal of fun. I know how to keep a good balance. The best part about what I do is the ability to share the knowledge I've learned over the years and pass along the traditions deeply embedded within our art.

I've had nine months of guitar lessons with David and I am very happy with the progress. I have been playing guitar for 35 years felt like I was in a rut. David has challenged me with learning new scales, new patterns, and added some music theory. I'm getting out of that rut quickly! I love that David is harmony with my favorite musical styles (blues and blues based rock, and jazz) and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas. Highly recommended!
