I had my first intro lesson with Jon and it was fantastic! I was able to portray an issue I was having and Jon knew exactly the fix and taught me so much in just 30 minutes. Very excited to get into the weekly lessons and I’m sure he will help take my guitar playing to a new level! Highly recommend.

As a first time guitar student I have had a very positive experience at RSG- the staff are all very helpful and scheduling is really easy! Someone is always available if you call and they are also very responsive with email. This is a great place to start your guitar journey!

RSG is an awesome place for guitar players of all ages and abilities. Facilities are spacious with multiple rooms and studios. Classes and instructors are amazing. I made so much progress with my playing and developed a much better understanding of the instrument and music. I even got to play with an adult band. 5 Stars! !Rock on, RSG!

For years Ive studied guitar and music on my own or with a dedicated teacher only to quickly lose focus and fizzle out.As an adult student, I needed something more than working my way through a lesson book in a tiny room getting quizzed each week for 30 minutes. The difference with RSG is the group lesson format that provides a fun, no pressure, motivational environment to play and learn at the same time. The school has three great teachers that work well together and seamlessly trade off classes, providing different viewpoints while remaining focused on a cohesive learning plan.I currently take two classes. The Core Skills class provides a solid base focused on many areas including chords, tab, scales, songs, ear training, and technique. The Improv class provides a more in depth focus on theory and learning how to move around the neck with a focus on soloing.I can honestly say that I have studied guitar for years, but its only since Ive joined RSG that Im learning to put it all together and am just having so much fun learning and playing!

Thank you so much for the kind words, Nick! It means a lot to hear that you're feeling motivated, supported, and excited to play again. We're really happy you're part of the RSG community—it's been a joy to see your progress and to have you with us on this journey!

I would recommend Reading School of Guitar to anyone! My 7-year-old recently started taking classes and loved it. The owner is very responsive and accommodating and does a great job supporting the young kids. The building is also beautiful.
