Introduction: I do not give up on difficult cases. I am a very flexible trainer, and well versed and practiced on all forms of dog training. This is not a "one size fits all" mentality, dogs have different personalities and needs, so do their humans. My methods are proven. Being able to help others obtain balance in their lives between their dogs and their families. Many dogs are given up to shelters for easily fixable behaviors.

When I first met Shari, I was having a tough time understanding my dog and working with him. His name is Bruiser. He is my German Shepherd Husky mix. She helped me to under stand my dog in a new perspective. I learned through her methods of training and experience how to have fun and read my dogs body language. I learned to make Training a Positive experience that my pup enjoyed! I was always getting aggravated and frustrated with him, thinking that he just loved to make me mad. What I didn't understand was that it wasn't him that was the problem it was me. I had to learn to follow through and be the leader my pup deserves! With a lot of guidance and hands on work from Shari and dedication/patience from my end, everything paid off. I have a much better relationship with my dog because he knows I am a leader he can trust to make decisions for his safety. He went from not listening and being a guarding dog to becoming one who waits and watches for what I want him to do next and trusting my decisions in stressful situations. What most impressed me was her patience, explaining things I never understood, step by step, and good attitude towards it all. She never gives up on a dog in need and will push her students, even when times get tough, through to see the amazing results in the end. I was 100% satisfied with Shari and her teachings. Her schedule is very flexible. She is always a phone call away if I need to ask her a question on my dog and even when she doesn't pick up the phone, she gets back to me that same day, no matter the hour. I would recommend her to anyone I see having a tough time with their dog. She is the best!

Shari assisted me, a new, first-time dog parent, with a very timid rescue dog. I had no idea what I was doing, and she was able to get both Bella and me to a very good place. She is unfailingly committed to the dog's well-being and in owner education. Simply put, this woman absolutely speaks 'dog'. And, her commitment to her 'graduates' extends long past the training. She has been available to me countless times for one-off questions or concerns.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am constantly attending seminars and workshops held by other trainers. It is important to keep up with todays latest trends.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved dogs. I have felt a closeness with all my dogs that I've never really felt with humans, I really believe that dogs are born good, but they really don't understand how to live with humans until they are taught. Many of the dog-related stresses in our lives can be resolved quickly with a little knowledge and guidance from the right professional.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Basic training issues, resolving jumping, nipping, resource guarding. I also specialize in dog-to-dog aggression and training camps for modifying harder behaviors.
