We hired Felipe and FJ construction for our bathroom remodel job, and the job got done wonderfully and on time. Felipe and his team is very professional, responsive, and competent. Had Fj construction come and give a quote for 2 bathrooms once we agreed on a price went ahead and got started and I regret I didn’t do more of a background check and check references. Very unprofessional company. Didn’t pull any permits flooring guy did not install the bathroom floor tile properly. Did not use the correct Sheetrock in the bathroom with the shower and only demoed the walls not the ceiling which was strange. The tape and plaster job was horrible. No permits were pulled for the bathroom they are not licensed plumbers so make sure you have a licensed plumber and electrician available because they will tell you they know how to do both but are not licensed. Framing came out crooked on one of the bathrooms and trash was left for over a month on the side of the house when I explained the issues and explained the guys were not showing up he said he would get it right I gave him a opportunity to come but it was a no show on the day he said he would come so I decided to go with another contractor to get it right. Told him I do not need any money back with the half of the job deposit that I left and told him I will take care of the trash and I would like to just go our separate ways he then shows up to my house unexpected and uninvited telling me I have to let him finish. I told him it was very unprofessional to just show up to my house especially after I decided to go with another contractor. Please do your research and check references before hiring. I hope this review helps others. Update 4/14/2024 after leaving my review i received another very unprofessional email from this contractor. I have attached the email he sent. The contractor is suing me for the other half of the job that was not finished by him. I had to have a licensed contractor come in add 1/2 inch Sheetrock to the ceilings and plaster all the walls due to the horrible tape and mud job they did. As well as cut back the door threshold in one of the bathrooms, re straighten out a wall he left curved amd crooked and finished grouting the shower as well as properly install a window they In properly installed. I’m hoping this all gets resolved in court I do not need the name calling or him just showing up to my property very unprofessional. As u can see in some of the pictures I had every right to stop this from going any further the tape and mud job was not to industry standards u can see the threshold on the on the floor extend out past the door frame another incorrect installation. You can see he tried to re tape over something he already tapped and missed and the trash was left in the back in front of my gate for just about a month. I paid the contractor half of the job upfront and did did not ask for any money off I just simply asked to go out separate ways.
