I've been taking music production classes with Jenn for about 3 months now, and I absolutely love working with him! Very knowledgeable with both music production and music theory. Even after 3 months of lessons I still get so impressed every time I show him a song I'm working on and can play it on the piano without me telling him what notes/chords were being played. He's taught me plenty of little tips and tricks for mixing & mastering, as well as went in depth of how certain plugins/audio effects work. Not only have I seen an improvement with my music production, but my friends have too. I can't recommend getting lessons from him enough, especially if you're a beginner in music production!

My daughter (age 9), son (age 12), and I have been taking lessons from Jenn for the past 3 years and I can't say enough wonderful things about him. Not only is he an incredibly talented, educated, and gifted musician; but he knows how to transfer his knowledge and tailor it to each one of us. Keeping my daughter and son interested in playing the piano, and eager to keep coming back week-after-week, is no easy task as they are both are involved in multiple sports and other activities throughout the year. Jenn is excellent at making their lessons engaging and tailoring to their interests. Every now and then my daughter composes her own song. Jenn will use that as an opportunity to teach her theory by helping her chart her song out; teaching her how to write music and helping her understand the importance of all the elements that are used to read and comprehend music. My son was bored with the traditional music books most piano teachers work through with their students. To keep him interested, my son picks his own music and Jenn charts it out for him and his ability. Both are thriving and have grown so much as musicians. I took piano lessons as a child. Had I had Jenn as my teacher I would have likely stuck with it. Like my son, I was bored with the Alfred books and my childhood piano teacher didn't make it fun. About 5 years ago I decided I wanted to pick it back up and got a keyboard. But I struggled and became frustrated as I wasn't able to make the music that I wanted to hear. That is when I started taking lessons with Jenn. We work on all types of music and I'm loving it! I even play keyboard in a band at church a few times a month.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jenn! I've taken music lessons with several teachers over the past year, but Jenn was without a doubt THE BEST one! I'm so glad that I found him. I have learnt and improved so much because of him. He was very patient with me during every lesson. My time feel has improved tremendously, and my understanding of contemporary harmony, gospel piano and keyboard/synth sounds has become better overtime, all because of him. I attribute my musical growth to Jenn's guidance, patience and support. He made music education extremely worthwhile and I HIGHLY recommend Jenn to be your music educator, cause he would be the BEST one you'd ever have!
