This was my initial experience using Thumbtack to find a public notary who could travel to Mass General Hospital to sign the necessary documents. As a surgeon at Mass General, Milagros Cruz early in the morning. I needed a quick and convenient solution, given the limited hours of sleep I get due to work. While Mrs. Cruz did respond to my request, she only offers in-office appointments. Therefore, I had to choose another individual who met me at the hospital at 4:30 AM for $860. This allowed me to get the documents ready first thing in the morning for a property closing in New York on friday.

We chose Milagros because of her 28 years of experience as well as having completed over 8,000 weddings. Upon our first discussion, she was warm and was accommodating to our busy schedule. She is professional, speaks from the heart and provides a questionnaire which helps couples understand how to plan their ceremony which may include loved ones to share (religious or non-religious) readings, a Union ceremony (to include mothers, etc.) and other options - all of which we didn’t know about initially and needed help navigating. We chose to write our own vows, but if needed, she also offers her help and support!
Last month, we had an intimate ceremony with 32 of our loved ones and closest friends in Boston. Milagros gifted us with a beautiful ceremony which described our love and our story as well as shared wisdom with us to help prepare us for our next chapter and marriage together.

We had our wedding in larz anderson park in Brookline on Aug 6. Everything went very well. Milagros came on time for the ceremony but we came half an hour late and she was calmly waiting for us. Milagros solemnized our wedding in a professional and affectionate manner and everyone was very happy and delighted. We received our marriage certificate within 10 days. Milagros is a highly recommended justice of peace!
