We had our wedding in larz anderson park in Brookline on Aug 6. Everything went very well. Milagros came on time for the ceremony but we came half an hour late and she was calmly waiting for us. Milagros solemnized our wedding in a professional and affectionate manner and everyone was very happy and delighted. We received our marriage certificate within 10 days. Milagros is a highly recommended justice of peace!

HORRIBLE DO NOT BOOK!!!! She showed up early and said we had to start at 3:30 sharp. My ceremony was booked for 4pm but as every bride does I was running late told her we had to push it 30 minutes to 4:30 she got upset. She said if you’re not here at 4pm on the dot I’m not marrying you. So I told her I’d call her back. Since she said those words to me I called another wedding officiant and she was able to come down from an hour away to marry me. When I called Milagros she got up set started saying if it’s 4:30 now I can do it. She said I was irresponsible, that I’m starting a new life and that I was starting it the wrong way. If I’m catholic I shouldn’t be doing this. Me echo MAL DE OJO!!! But I know god will protect me and my marriage. DO NOT BOOK THIS LADY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Adding text messages for proof she kept blowing up my phone after I told her she wasn’t going to marry me. She told me I had to pay her and I wasn’t paying her S***t.

I asked her if she can come an hour early or even 30min for some guidance. We had no wedding planner due to finances which she knew that when I hired her Feb 2023 for my wedding Oct 2023. She stated she would charge extra for even 30min! She failed to mention that she only comes for 15-20min and not for the ceremony that was scheduled for 2 hours. I chose her because my husband has Spanish speaking family. Unfortunately they cancelled last minute and it was too late for me to find a new officiant. As the photos below is the rude texting conversation the day of the wedding when she was constantly texting me why it hasn’t started and where is her money. As soon as I got to the stand for the ceremony I apologized for the timing. She behaved like nothing happened and she wasn’t just texting me demanding. She was very rude to me. I told my husband and he stated she was not acting that way to him. At the end when it was very busy she left. I messaged her and I asked when she needed the remaining money. She stated IMMEDIATELY all vendors get paid right then and there. This was our first wedding by the way so we didn’t know how things go but she knew I was doing everything on my own. We kept in contact briefly through the months leading up to the wedding. I debated if I wanted to write this review or let it be but I couldn’t get over the fact how she was so mean. I thought we had a good relationship. I also didn’t know her at all and my kindness for animals was taken for granted. I helped her on a personal matter which I didn’t have to and she completely disregarded it. I did it in the beginning for the animals to help her and I didn’t do it to be petty and expect something from it. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again to others because I was very upset by this situation on how much her behavior changed so quickly.
