Jeff's Personalized Lessons

Introduction: I offer high-quality services in the form of guitar, martial arts, and swimming lessons. These are completely tailored to fit you or your child's current abilities, interests, and dedication level. For music, I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and can offer great beginner and intermediate lessons that emphasize fun while still ensuring strong, musical foundation. For martial arts and self-defense, I hold a black belt in tae kwon do and have almost 15 years of experience in the sport. I acted as an instructor for many years at my home studio in NJ. I've also trained and competed in Brazilian jiujitsu along the way. On top of all that, I've had the unique opportunity to learn the same hand-to-hand tactics utilized by our armed forces and border patrols that ensure they can best protect themselves and our country. All of this training allows me to offer focused lessons in general self-defense techniques as well as personal fitness in martial arts form. The martial arts stress core strength, flexibility, and balance, all of which are imperative to leading a healthy lifestyle. For swimming, I hold a Red Cross certification in Water Safety Instruction (WSI) and I'm a former lifeguard. I've taught both private and group lessons for several years. For my teaching experience, on top of teaching karate classes and swimming lessons, I've also taught hundreds of ski lessons. My clients have ranged from very young children to middle-aged adults. I have experience teaching individuals with developmental disabilities as well. I'm a 21-year-old male and can relate well to all ages.
