Introduction: Hello! I have been teaching private violin and piano lessons since 2012 in New York City and Boston. I teach beginner and advanced level students, and have experience with ages 3 to 58! I just received my doctorate in violin performance from BU (May 2020) to further refine my skills as a teacher and performer.
Above all, studying music should be fun, and my teaching style reflects that. I like to work with each student on their personal goals while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic atmosphere. My curriculum includes theory and fundamentals in addition to performance for a more well-rounded approach.

I served as Brooks's supervisor when he taught Non-Major violinists at Boston University while working on his doctorate.
