Introduction: Hello. My name is Frankie Price and my company, Mosaic Music Instruction, LLC., specializes in musical instruction, so let's start making some music! I have had the honor of performing in multiple countries and working with some very famous people. I also have over 20 years of teaching experience and degrees from West Virginia University, Berklee College of Music, Boston University, and the University of West London. I believe my experience makes me the perfect teacher for students of any age and any level of playing, whether it be on the guitar, piano, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, or woodwind instrument. I know that learning to play something new in any style of music, whether it be Classical, Metal, Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Soul, Motown, Funk, Pop, Prog, Country, or Rock is a challenge, but you can do it with help. Please message, email, or call me. Feel free to contact me if I can answer any questions you may have regarding scheduling a lesson or anything music-related. Don't forget to watch my Introductory Video in the section below. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon.

I have been taking lessons with Frankie weekly for around 2 years. I look forward to my lesson every week. I come away from every lesson excited to work on the material and concepts and I’m certain this has contributed enormously to my progress as a guitar/banjo player. I couldn’t possibly recommend Frankie highly enough as a teacher.

Frankie tailors each lesson to help me understand how to play better music. Sometimes, we focus on music theory, other times we focus on reading music, or playing technique. He’s an excellent music instructor who enjoys sharing his knowledge, encourages my development, and has fun with each session!

Frankie does an excellent job at catering each lesson to a student's goals, strengths, and weaknesses. He helps students figure out what they need to work on to become better musicians, not just better guitar players. He is a very patient instructor too. If I had a particularly busy week, he would always understand if I had little time to practice and made sure to set me on the right course so that I could still get better.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $30 for thirty minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for sixty minutes.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to access the student by asking a few questions and hearing about their goals and interests while figuring out their skill level. After that, I design a curriculum for them.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Along with my Doctorate in Music Education from Boston University, I have been playing for over 30 years and teaching private lessons for 16+. I am a Professional Instructor that has the ability and resources to help you with several styles ranging from Rock to Classical to Jazz to Country to Metal. In other words, anything you want to learn, I can teach by using the songs and exercises necessary to help you become a real musician.
