Introduction: I'm a very respectful person who brings a calming presence to the bridal suite on your wedding day. We have a few laughs and have a great time. I pride myself on being punctual. Many brides come to me with fear of makeup. Makeup doesn't have to look cakey or be very heavy. You can have a soft natural glow or have a very romantic smokey look! It's very important to feel comfortable with how you look and I love to make people see the person they truly are and make them smile.

Nancy is the best makeup artist that you could ever have imagined or dreamt of having, seriously! I have had my makeup done many times by makeup artists in and around the boston area. Nancy is by far the best artist I've worked with -- she was able to work with my seven bridesmaids all of whom have different skin tones and skin types, and complimented each woman's natural beauty! I thought the best part was Nancy's very calming presence. She will not only put the bride at ease, but will also keep bridesmaids and mothers at ease as well. The combination of her artistic and creative talents, and her personality, will make the overall experience of getting your makeup done truly memorable and enjoyable!

Nancy is a very talented makeup artist! I knew right from my trial that she would be the perfect MUA for my 7/5/14 wedding. I had only had a few experiences with having my makeup professionally done, and had never been happy, so I was nervous. Nancy had prepped based on what I told her I was looking for and really listened to me. Not only did Nancy do a great job, but her calming, positive personality put me at ease, too. This was especially important on my wedding day when she made me feel relaxed and gorgeous! Nancy also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner and more recently for my high school class reunion. Each time, she gave me a different, but beautiful look. Honestly, I wish Nancy could do my makeup every morning. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist for any occasion.

Nancy is truly incredible! Not only is she devoted to staying on top of every makeup trend and buying and using only the highest quality products, she is a wonderfully warm, thoughtful, and kind person to be around! I originally found Nancy through her amazing reviews on Yelp, and I'm so glad I did. My mom and I traveled to Nancy's house for my initial consultation and booked her on the spot. She listened to EXACTLY what I wanted (natural, glory-romantic makeup - with falsies, of course!) and made my makeup dreams a reality. On the day of my wedding, Nancy showed up at our venue at about 6:55AM to style both moms, all my ladies, and me. She altered our original plan slightly due to the grey, rainy weather, so that our makeup would look better in our photos - amazing! Even more amazing - my makeup is nearly flawless in photos taken around 3AM from our after party! Nancy knows her stuff and is dedicated to what she does. I have since bought several of the products she used on me for my wedding and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her to ask her makeup questions or her thoughts on certain products. I have already recommended Nancy to several coworkers and will continue to do so. If I ever have a need to get my makeup done in the future, I will be calling Nancy. I recommend Nancy Gorman for any event that requires a professional, caring, sensitive and attention to detail make-up artist. Nancy is a highly qualified professional make-up artist. I hired Nancy to do my make up as well as three other family members to celebrate my sons wedding. This was my first experience using a professional make up artist and Nancy put me at ease right away. Before the session Nancy explained the process and answered questions. During the session Nancy noticed that I was disappointed that my hair stylist was not available to do my hair that day. She gently asked me if she could make a few calls to find someone to blow out my hair. Within thirty minutes I was in the chair of a fabulous hair stylist! When I returned home with my elegant hairstyle it was my turn to be made up. Everyone looked and felt beautiful. Nancys attitude was positive and respectful. Nancy made my face look amazing and I felt beautiful inside and out. Nancy provided more than a make up session; she saved the day, introduced me to a new hair stylist and created a new confidence in all of us. The value of her service cannot be measured in money. I felt that her fees were fair and well worth the service received. The wedding pictures demonstrate how the make up brought out our best features and lasted throughout the day. Nancy was literally the best vendor at my entire wedding!!! She did exactly what we did in our makeup trial and made the exact changes that we had talked about!! My makeup came out amazing!! My face looked flawless! Nancy even researched my photographer to do my makeup in a way that would compliment the photographers editing style. I would never think of that! Nancy has a very calming presence about her-she noticed I was stressed & did her best to relax me (it worked!), she even answered wedding questions outside of the makeup world!!! Nancy was extremely helpful in anway she could be! I know I will be going to Nancy and only Nancy the next time I need a flawless face!! I cannot say enough good things about Makeup By Nancy!!
