Introduction

Hi Lynne, My wife and I are both singers and DJs. During the winter we work out of Fort Myers, FL and cover all of Southwest Florida with our Oldies and Country Shows. As DJs and singers, we also cover all of the music you'd like and we'd be happy to play your requests. We provide entertainment from Cape Cod to Boston, MA during the spring, summer and fall. We are both retired "snowbirds," and we cover many of the artists from the 50’s through today that your group will enjoy. From Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Everly Brothers, Willie Nelson and Elvis through the music of the Beatles, the Eagles, and Jimmy Buffett, Bob Seger, Neil Diamond, as well as many, many more) we cover a tremendous amount of territory and cover some current artists as well. This was the 4th year in a row the Belchertown Lions Club has has hired Cape & Islands Entertainment for it's annual $20,000 Super Raffle extravaganza. Ron and Mary are true professionals in every sense of the term--complete with their state-of-the-art ability to download requested songs that might not happen to be in their extensive library of karaoke hits. No Wi-Fi? No problem!! Mary sets up her Smart Phone as a personal hotspot....and voila!! Both Ron and Mary can and do offer their own personal vocals---to get the Karaoke rolling with the sometimes timid crowd---a definite plus in my book when it comes to getting folks on their feet!! Great entertainment at fair and reasonable pricing---what more can we ask for? Not a thing...which is why they are our go-to group for an evening's entertainment!!

Ron and his daughter Emilie have always provided excellent entertainment for our annual backyard parties for the past five years. In my opinion (and that of my family and friends) they are the best around and are like our own family. Ron and Emilie have beautiful voices themselves and fill in whenever there is a lull with our guests signing up to do karaoke songs. Additionally, their song lists are extensive. My guests have even commented that they have songs that most Karaoke DJs dont have. At our last party, we even have an impromptu wedding happen, and Ron and Emilie rolled with the flow and not only accommodated our requests, they helped to make this surprise wedding a memorable one for our guests. They are HIGHLY recommended. We wouldnt have anyone else do our parties!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We'll try to work with you around prices. Please let us know if our price doesn't work for you; in that way, we can try to meet your needs so that you and your guests will be happy. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work very closely with our customers; new or return customers all receive the same care and attention to detail. We love to have fun; and we always want our customers to be happy with our services but especially with their event. We are always available for face to face meetings as well as via mobile phone, texting and email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Doctorate in Education and worked in education for over 35 years as a school counselor and elementary school principal. I have good communication and problem solving skills and I'm easy to work with. I read everything I can find on the internet regarding entertainment for Singers, DJs and Karaoke providers.
