Casey helped me completely decorate my new condo. She was great to work with and handled all of the logistics to make my life 10x easier. I'm thrilled with how my condo turned out! Casey took the time to understand my lifestyle and crafted a look and feel based on my personality that really shines through in the furniture and decorative pieces she selected. Would definitely work with her again!Mar 25, 2014Verified
Casey did a great job. I am hands on, and she adapted to my way of working easily. She is well connected with everyone a client needs to get a job done. She was very sensitive about my tastes and concerns, and learned my style and preferences quickly. All around I had a great experience.Mar 25, 2014Verified
Casey and Studio C Interiors did a fantastic job on my great room. She is knowledgable, extremely pleasant to work with and has some really great ideas. She was able to incorporate some existing pieces into her work and pulled it all together. Overall - an excellent experience.Jun 28, 2011

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I prefer charging a flat fee per space. That way the client does not feel the clock ticking on a project and we can relax and enjoy the process. But I will charge hourly if that works better for some clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to sit and talk about goals first. How will the client use the space, what is important to them. Then I work to define style. I want to be sure what modern looks like to me is the same as it looks to them, make sure we are talking the same design language. And then I like to just walk around and "feel" the space. Most rooms tell you a bit about what they need. Maybe a piece of art is the inspiration or a special piece of pottery. There is always a jumping off point. Then I create photo collages to communicate my ideas to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering that informs my sense of space, scale and symmetry. ( I still do my scale drawings by hand. I have always loved my mechanical pencils.) I enhanced that with coursework in Interior Design at the Boston Architectural College. I also attend industry seminars, market shows and lectures regularly to keep up on the latest trends and developments in design.
