James most certainly exceeded every expectation I had when looking for a photographer to capture the moment I proposed to my fiancé. I found James on Thumbtack and he was quick to respond after I fielded my initial request. Throughout my time working with James, he conducted himself in an extremely professional, courteous, and helpful manner. James not only helped me consider and plan my options for the best candid photograph to be taken, but on the day of, went above and beyond in surveying and communicating to me the status of the location I planned to propose. I had my ideal location in mind inside of a public park, James discreetly communicated to me when the coast was clear to make my way to the spot. My fiancé had no awareness of James presence, yet he was in the perfect spot to photograph the moment. Following the proposal, James was extremely flexible with his time, willing to follow us around and take photos in other locations around the park. James traveled a far distance on the day before Christmas Eve in order to be available for us. He provided us with several high quality photographs just moments after leaving that we could immediately share with friends and family. Even in the middle of the Holiday Season, James professionally edited an delivered to us the entire album of photographs from our special night in an extremely timely manner. The quality, time, and effort James put into the entirety of this request illustrates how high his dedication and commitment is to his craft. Thanks to James, we have stunning photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and are both extremely grateful for the hard work he put into this for us. We highly recommend James to anyone looking for a photographer for a job such as this, or anything else.

James was such a pleasure to work with right from the get-go! He was extremely understanding, responsive and attentive to detail. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for to surprise my girlfriend and made it a point to ask any clarifying questions. He also drove miles away to help capture our moment. I'm so happy to have had James capture this special moment for us - we loved each and every one of the photos. In addition to capturing our special moment, he was able to spend some time taking some photos across the property for us and also handled our preferences on color schemes beautifully.
