FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I met my wife we decided to own our own business, She wanted a dance studio, I wanted a bed and breakfast. She won, as it was much cheaper to own a dance studio than a bed and breakfast. So we reigned from our management jobs and became a well known chain for dance instruction as instructors. We loved the teaching but some other opportunities arose after several years and we chose to pursue those opportunities, all the time teaching dance on the side. Well, as June 2010, I opened Ballroom Bliss as a full time venture and haven't looked back. It is true what they say, life is good when you love something you do!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A student must feel comfortable with their dance instructor. You must feel like you connect with the instructors and the studio, most people who take dance classes or lessons often make new friends through the dance instruction that can last a lifetime, so please make sure you talk to the studio and get to know them before making any choices. Since dance involves contact with each other, you should feel comfortable with the instructor.
