Introduction: We, here at MJA Martial Arts, are excited about our schools. We offer quality martial arts instruction for men, women, and children of all ages. We utilize modern teaching techniques while keeping the traditional values of the martial arts. We provide our students with the best training they can get from qualified instructors. Our martial arts programs are taught as a lifestyle, not an activity, for complete physical fitness and spiritual health. We understand and represent the true meaning of a black belt and promise to hold the value of what it means to earn and receive a belt rank. Michael J. Agbay - Owner MJA, team director and third-degree black belt Sensei Mike Agbay, MJA Martial Arts Mike Agbay has almost 30 years of experience in the martial arts and has been teaching for over 20 years. At the age of 23, he received a first-degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate. Within the next 4 years, he received Instructor Certification Rank San Dan 3rd Degree Black Belt. Mike has also studied Wing-Chun Gung Fu and received Black Sash Certification. He also achieved his certification in boxing and kickboxing training. All our instructors have studied under Sensei Mike and are put through an intense training program. Each instructor must constantly train hard in pursuit of excellence. Customers comment on the positive energy we create, along with an attitude towards them encouraging them through their training. no lineage sensei/owner has no certification of rank in American kenpo or his wing chun. beware
MJA Martial Arts, Inc.'s reply
Dear "Concerned m" - by "...no certification of rank..." are you referring to a paper certificate? Why the concern regarding lineage? I would be happy to discuss either or both of these concerns with you directly. I offer a free trial class for all of my programs for you to decide whether my programs are what you're looking for. No question is off limits.

looks like the answers to who his teacher for American Kenpo is "I never had one." watch out. use his own advice "If your questions aren't being answered, either they don't know the answer or know the answer would "lose the sale"." that is why he won't tell anyone.
MJA Martial Arts, Inc.'s reply
I have tried repeatedly to respond to this "reviewer" regarding his questions. He/She refuses to contact me directly. If this person "knows" what my "...own advice..." is, then he/she knows why I am unable to identify who my Sensei was. I am convinced that these reviews come from a disgruntled former employee. I am willing to speak with anyone else who may have these concerns.
