I had two projects for involving a back patio on a triple decker. The first was to stabilize them as we were seeing some sagging and had some structural concerns. The second was to build privacy fencing around my patio. I also asked him to figure out a solution to enclose the space while not interfering with the stairs, as I wanted to be able to allow my cats outside on the patio. Gabe proposed building doors at each of the points of the stairs and figured out a latch system to allow them to remain closed, while being able to be opened from either side. For the first project involving the patio structure, Gabe was the only one to sensibly diagnose the problem. He was able to quickly identify the areas that were not up to code and knew exactly how to fix them. For the second project, he showed a lot of creativity in how to approach the solution of my enclosed patio space. He listened to what I was trying to do and crafted a very clever solution. I also found his pricing to be fair and the work to be high quality. I would recommend him and would hire him again.

We had our stairs completely redone after knocking down a wall. Gabe and his crew did an outstanding job and listened to what we really wanted. He did such a wonderful job we are having him come out and look at our hardwood flooring project :)

Gabe visited my home the very next day after I contacted him, he came by when I was at work and looked at the job, and I could tell immediately he was a consummate professional, and we arrived at a no nonsense price right off the bat, and he sent two of the best carpenters over and they did the job in two days. They paid attention to every bit of detail, the work was beyond reproach, and they were extremely personable, but never stopped working even when I spoke to them, just flat out. The minute I met Gabe in person I knew I was dealing with a master and he didn't make me take out a home equity loan to do a good piece of work, extremely fair minded and I would use him again, wouldn't even bother to call someone else. It was a tough job, but everything was done to perfect specifications and the engineering and use of the finest, strongest materials and hardware left me feeling lucky. You hear so many stories about bad experiences. Well here is a fairytale, in a ruthless business, having been a homeowner for 30 years you become a quick judge of character. Thank you Gabe.
