FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked on a older home from 1825 and the kitchen floor was not level by 3 1/2 inches thru out and I built a floor over it because the floor could not be raised. I had to build up the base cabinets also but added colonial trim to make up for the lack of height then place a new counter top on top. They also had a space problem with shelving so I made them a custom made shelving six feet long and two inches thick for strenght to accommodate supporting a large micro wave and other kitchen appliances. One other concern they had because this was a older home was they needed a cabinet to fit into a specific corner for there television so I custom made them one to fit a 42 inch flat screen tv with doors and plenty of shelving and no wiring showing. The trick was it had to match the era of 1825 that was in the rest of the house. Once again you can view pictures of this at the photo link or at our web site.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If I were to look for a contractor to hire I would expect them to be accountable for what services they are offering , honest, put every thing down on paper in detail pertaining to the job, proper license, fully insured, quality work, neatness, respect for my home and to realize that I am their employer and they work for me.
