About

Photography became part of my life 8 years ago, both as a hobby and as a professional activity. At the time, I was working for one of the largest IT companies in Europe and had a daily opportunity to practice my photography skills: shooting portraits of top managers and rank-and-file employees, photo reports and staged photos, field and studio photos, photos for posters and advertising campaigns, etc. Photography school, online courses, and workshop certificates also prove my solid theoretical background. As my family moved to the United States, I seized the opportunity to make photography my full-time job. After 4 years in the US I'm focusing on family and event photography - from solo portraits to family sessions, from showers to weddings. Also there are some my corporate clients: Thumbtack (yes, I do some job for Thumbtack), Swampscott Education Foundation, American Academy of Personal Training, Swampscott Youth Soccer Assosiation, North Shore YMCA etc. I have one additional bonus in every family photo shoot. It helps me understand more and more how FAMILY works. Sign of good photo shoot for me – when I am smiling through the process. Sign of perfect job – when I am smiling through the post processing as well. And I feel myself happiest man on the Earth when I am smiling even while posting in Facebook about finished work.

My wife and I are so happy we found Igor on Thumbtack to photograph our wedding! He is a very skilled and professional photographer. He shows up early to scout his photo locations, offers helpful ideas, and captures all the special moments of an event. You can see him smile when he knows he got a great shot. We had an engagement shoot to get used to working with him 2 months before the wedding and it really helped. He gets the photos back to you quickly and the quality is outstanding. My husband and I wanted a really talented photographer to come to our son's College Graduation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Me and my family moved to the US only 4 years ago. All my clients, testimonials, contacts, marketing efforts, brands etc. - I left everything there, abroad. Now I do my business here from scratch. And unfortunately for me but fortunately for you, the fastest way to build business in new country is holding lower prices. So price is low, quality is high and now you know why.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm full-time photographer and ready to chat/meet almost 24/7. And in general typical process is very easy - you hire me, I do all my best, you pay me, you enjoy your pictures.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Seminars, master classes, work shops. Also I have university diploma in journalism and, surprise-surprise, it helps me a lot. Especially, while I work on different events - it helps me hold the main line of the event and helps me to show all important details to help you restore in mind full picture of, for example, your wedding.
