- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly rates start from $125/hr for 2 movers + truck, $165/hr for 3 movers and $199/hr for 4 movers. Billed time = travel time + work time, with a 3-hour minimum, then 15-minute steps. Travel time is the drive from our office to your first address, plus the drive from your last address back to our office. Example: 45 min travel + 2 hrs work = 3 hrs (the minimum). 1 hr travel + 2 hrs 45 min work = 3 hrs 45 min. Blankets, pads, dollies, straps, tools, furniture disassembly and reassembly are included. Boxes and tape are charged only if you need them. 5% off for cash, military and returning customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) You send your addresses, move date and a rough list of what's moving. 2) We ask about stairs, elevators and parking, then send you a written estimate. 3) On moving day we protect your furniture and floors, load, drive, unload and place everything where you want it. 4) You pay by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum that includes travel time. Nothing hidden.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our crew is trained in safe lifting, protecting furniture with blankets and pads, disassembly and reassembly, and moving through tight Boston stairwells and elevator buildings.
