FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some services, such as mulch, we do. In that case we charge per yard, which includes the cost of the mulch, delivery and spreading. Most services we need to see the job in order to make the quote accurate. As the next question will show, it makes for a better overall experience for both parties to have that fair quote, and not a low bid just to win the bid. As a professional business we need to make money to remain in business and take care of our employees, yet also give the customer a fair price as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to hear what the customer is looking to have done and meet with them on the property to give them the most accurate quote as there are always things we see that can either save time or will add time. Those hidden factors make a big difference and in the cases of some companies, make them avoid the job if they bid and win and then find out about these factors afterwards. It just makes the experience for both parties much better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently completed my degree in Professional Turfgrass Management, and I am looking into further continuing education to make Gold Leaf Lawnscapes as educational as possible for current and potential clients questions and needs.
