FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is set on Thumbtack for transparency, but most projects are completed within a clearly defined scope and timeframe. After a brief review of your books, I’ll confirm an estimated number of hours before starting so you know what to expect. I focus on working efficiently and accurately, not dragging projects out. If additional work is needed beyond the original scope, I’ll always discuss it with you first before proceeding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick review of your books to understand the scope and identify any issues. From there, I explain what needs to be fixed, estimate the time required, and confirm expectations before starting. Once approved, I reconcile accounts, correct errors, and organize your records so your financials are accurate and easy to understand. I provide updates as needed and deliver clean reports when the work is complete. If you’d like ongoing support, we can also set up a simple monthly process going forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Accounting and have professional training and hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance-driven environments. My background includes working with general ledger reviews, cleanup and catch-up work, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation. In addition to formal education, I’ve built my skills through real-world accounting work across professional services, financial institutions, and regulated organizations, which helps me approach client books with accuracy, structure, and attention to detail.
