Throughout my time working in home improvement, I've heard countless customers discuss their need for trusted sources for handiwork and home advice - not only when it came to major projects and renovations. Someone to go to for home maintenance or projects that need to be more custom tailored to meet their needs.
Home maintenance tasks add up to a lot of time without professional experience or tools. In addition to larger jobs, I am happy to offer lower half-day and day rates for a list of small jobs to make active home maintenance a realistic goal.

Maggie is excellent. Professional, efficient and works hard. This job was to demo a small porch roof, and she tackled it in four hours. I’ll definitely work with Maggie again. Don’t hesitate to give Maggie a call.

FAQs
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've aided in home improvement and construction projects since high school, but began apprenticing with a general contractor after getting my bachellors degree.
I worked in home improvement, kitchen design and sales, and in a furniture workshop before pursuing Maggie Makes It full time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's normal to talk to a professional while working out your project idea. Sometimes experienced insight can be useful at the earliest steps to figure out the best options and limitations. This can especially be the case with custom carpentry or creative projects.
However, the best conversations happen when a customer has a firm sense of their ideal budget and timeline.
