- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the sake of transparency, grocery/ingredient prices are separate from my service fee. Meal prep: Meal prep service starts at $250/week, plus cost of groceries. Private events: Family-style service starts at $70/person. Plated service starts at $80/person. Beverage pairings are available for an additional fee. The cost of groceries is separate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every case is unique. Once you reach out, there will be some back and forth over the phone and email as we fine-tune your menu(s). Check out my website to learn more: jrpersonalchef.com
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Servsafe Food Protection Manager and hold a Massachusetts Allergen Awareness Certificate. I am a Certified Cicerone—an expert in the keeping, serving, and pairing of beer (basically, a beer sommelier). I am also TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) certified in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, which comes in handy in the kitchen more often than you might think!
