Overall, I had a positive experience working with Boston Best Construction on my laundromat renovation, though, like most construction projects, there were some ups and downs along the way.
One of their strengths is communication. They have a full team supporting the project, and I generally found them to be responsive and engaged. Over the course of the four-month project, there were a few miscommunications, and the scope of work evolved at times, which is not uncommon in construction.
One important thing to understand about how they operate is that they strictly adhere to their defined scope of work. If something falls outside of that scope, it is not proactively addressed unless it is explicitly brought up. In my case, an additional requirement that came up during the permitting process was not completed until near the end of the project, which caused some delays. As someone new to renovations, I would have appreciated clearer communication about that earlier on.
Another consideration is that they subcontract portions of the work. Because of this, you do not have direct input in selecting those vendors. I did experience some plumbing-related issues, which were ultimately resolved, but it required me to stay actively involved and follow up to ensure everything met expectations.
That said, I did feel heard when concerns were raised, and the team worked to address and correct issues. The final result is a space that I am happy with, and more importantly, my customers are happy as well.
Renovations are inherently stressful, especially for a first-time project, so it can be difficult to separate what is typical from what is company-specific. Overall, Boston Best Construction delivered a quality end product, and while there were areas where clearer communication could have reduced stress, they were responsive and committed to making things right.

Eduardo and his team did an amazing job on our dormer addition/bathroom renovation. Its difficult renovating and building in an occupied home and he and his crew were nothing but gentlemanly, respectful and kind. They kept the house and work space as clean as possible and were very respectful of our private space. The project fell directly within the schedule allotted in our contract and true to his word, there were zero changes orders even as we adjusted elements along the way. Eduardo himself is a very easy person to work with. He is always available and will respond to any concern or need any time of the day or night. If youve ever done any sort of renovation, I dont think theres anything more highly to compliment than responsiveness and Eduardo scores a 10 in that category. The end result is the bathroom we dreamed off, inside and out. The tile work is amazing and we are equally impressed with the exterior finishing and detailed time spent matching the new to old on our 1890s home. We would not hesitate to contact Boston Best Construction for future projects, knowing the time and attention we would receive. I just had my kitchen and bathroom fully gutted and remodeled by BBC. I'm very happy with the outcome of it all, and would definitely hire Eduardo for my next project or recommend to anyone in need of a great contractor! He was always very fast to answer any of my doubts. His crew has an amazing work ethic. They treated my house with care and respect. Everything from the materials they used to the appliances I bought was kept organized. The job site and my house was kept clean every work day. We are remodeling our kitchen. Eduardo is an excellent communicator. He always returns our calls/text msg.
Mistakes were made earlier. They forgot to seal our bedroom door during the demolition. Thankfully, Eduardo himself clean the bedroom afterward. Cement were dripping through the basement causing a mess in our basement. They promised to replace the insulation in the basement (We trust they'll keep their promise). This is our first major project. So it was a bit frustrating at first. But it's getting better as it progress. We added other little projects around the house, i.e. painting the hallway, replace doors, etc. Work is still in progress.... They do a good job so far.

Boston Best Construction crew has made an awesome job by remodeling my master bathroom. They were so nice and professional on their work. The crew is respectful and they work really hard. The most surprising thing was that I left my house with my family for vacations and when we came back the job was already done.
